We went with a group of friends from Ribadavia and we had a good, relaxing time. I had the mixed grilled meats (steak, pork, chicken & sausage ) served with fries in their skins, salad, house wine and a nice sauce. The dessert was coffee, a liqueur shot and baked cheesecake. Overall it was good value for money for 18€. The installations and surrounding rural setting has its charms especially the Hobbit like dinning space edged into the hillside which is tastefully designed & decorated. Service was fine. You can start in their cafeteria and order a pre dinner drink while waiting or you can play table football. Alternatively you can stroll around outside.

A must place to go. Restaurant has a hint to the hobbit. The food is really good and the staff friendly and responsive. The interior is also really rustic in the Galician way. I will repeat .

We didn't stay in a room, only ate in the restaurant (third time). The crocas (thin steak), vegetables on the grill, Galician octopus on the grill are all delicious. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. Caution, Galician beef is very lean, so steaks served well done, still tend to be pink inside. They will cook it longer for you but it may become a little dry. When busy, you have to just take your time over lunch, don't go there if you want to be in and out because you have an appointment. In winter it can be a little cool inside if not busy. It is a pretty restaurant but a little out of the way.

The Hobbit Shire in the middle of the Galician landscape. This place was such a surprise! Perfect for a day trip or staying overnight O Fogar de Breogán is a great city escape with family or friends. The food was amazing, we had Octopus, croquettes, fresh salad and a massive Chuletón although the rodicio is highly recommended too. The dinning space is beautifully authentic and can accommodate several people. The staff were super friendly and even showed us around. Thank you so much! Loved the details on the decoration and design of both exterior and interiors, how clean and cared. I would love to come back again.

Don’t get the buffet plate. It is cooked poorly. Get the steak house special. It makes the trip worth it. The servers aren’t very organized so make sure to order everything up front. Don’t expect them to come around many times for drink refills etc. we asked for a to go box and that never came. The “hobbit” looking house is pretty cool. It is very rural and takes a while to get there on narrow roads that are not paved well. So make sure you have a decent enough vehicle to make it. Definitely worth the trip though.

The food ? Great !! Outstanding. The crew ? Fantastic. Very gentle. Just one little problem : one of the guys who did the show during "La Queimada" were......so stupid !! He was so unrespectfull with my wife !! He called her "bad woman" as a joke. This was the worst !!
